Default Side air bag light problem

I have a 2004 acura rsx type s and for some reason my side air bag light turns on and off on my gauge cluster while in driving. is there a reason for this? thanks in advance!

Pretty sure there is a recall on that specific reason. Call up Acura.

Are you shifting around in your seat at the time? Or a passenger? There are supposed to be sensors that will switch the side air bags off if there is an obstruction in the airbag's inflation path. The light does not necessarily mean there is a problem with the airbag.

My gf always gets fiesty while i'm driving and it makes the light go on/off occasionally.
