I'm joining the NAVY in a couple months and i have the choice to go where ever the hell I want. I visited Orange Beach a few times as a young teen and now, 20 years old I am very interested in moving to California. San Diego to be exact. How is the car scene? I dont know why but every time I think of California's car scene I picture Fast & Furious hanging out in the middle of 2 big warehouses in the middle of a giant parking lot.

Just wanted to know what Californians think about their home?

I'm from Georgia.. it sucks here. besides for atlanta... that place is okay.

 

this is where it's at. the west coast is the best coast!!! there's a few cities and states that rep pretty sick, but killa cali is where the fires at.

 

socal has a pretty high cost of living but its worth every fu*cking penny. i wouldnt want to be anywhere else

I was thinking of Japan for a long time, but the deployment is 2-4 years overseas and I do not know the language, the culture, or anyone there.

in california, i will be near a lot of my family including my mother, aunt, my aunt's entire family, and many more people I will meet at car shows.

NAVY pays for housing so that's no problem and I'll make well enough money to provide for myself. i heard minimum wage is around 8-9 dollars an hour?

i think its $8/hour, but i heard it might do down soon?

I'll probably end up staying over here on the east coast but one day i'll definitely be a Californian.
