I read this.
http://www.c-speedracing.com/faq/06.php
I get 12 short blinks. According to http://www.c-speedracing.com/faq/05.php it's
"EGR Lift Sensor (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
* invalid code for non-equipped EGR valve vehicles"
and according to our thing at https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1710584
it's
"12 EGR - exhaust gas recirculation lift valve "
So what do I do? I've searched a bit (I found something last night and will post it here), but what's the best way to troubleshoot and fix this. Did I mention I have inspection on Friday? If I drive with the hazard fuse unplugged, would it note come on? What about if I leave the jumper wire in? If the Haz fuse is unplugged, I assume no hazard lights? heh. Just looking at ideas here, though I'd rather fix it right.
Thoughts welcome.
*edit* found
"Mounted on the right back corner of the fire wall. It cannot be purchased seperatly, but only as a unit. Voltage range of the lift sensor is 1.2v closed to 4.0v open. It was required on all cars sold in in CA. starting in 1988. However, some CIVIC's were engineered without having to use one, to control NOx.
Purge Control Wires:
1 Yellow/Black
1 Red/Yellow
Try cleaning it out "
I will take a look, though tonight = hood hinge and trunk release cable! pita on both because HH is damaged/broken

Also, all 90-93 Accords have EGR valves... and there are a few of them at the junkyard (NO CRXs... ugh)... so that's a thought, too.

Thanks jlicrx. That's the link I have at the bottom of my first post.
Rumor has it I can do this with Seafoam... hmm, where do I feed it from... intake? Does the EGR remove easily? How? Where's my damn Haynes manual... I think it's in upstate NJ, argh!
Anyone have a removal procedure, or could type something from memory?

Nice. I've done enough reading to know to thoroughly clean the EGR, and make sure the plunger moves.
I'm not too sure about the EGR 'ports' that clogged with carbon on the intake manifold... hmmm. We'll see about that. I'll try to take some pics too of what I find.
