bad things happening with oilpan, umm can any one help??
well it was leaking at the gasket, so i took the old on off and put a new on, and it stopped leaking, the the next day i looked under the car and there was oil every were....so i jacked it up and looked were it was coming from, the gasket blow out and ripped in 4 places....(there goes $20 out the window), i think some of the nuts are stripped there for its not getting tight enuff. but thats just what i think. and when im driving it the oil is dripping on the exostpipe, making smoke...it sucks, i need ti fix this asap, im a driver for a pizza hut, and i need to fix it like now. so can any one tell me what to do please.....and also are there any website that have cheap mods for honda civic 1995, like headers, intake, exc...
Did you overtorque the bolts? I know someone that had the same problemh on a cavalier because he tightened them to like 70 ftlbs instead of 70 inchlbs.
There are a lot of cheap mod sites. I recommend checking out the sellers in hondamarketplace.com. If that's not cheap enough, checkout ebay, but you get what you pay for.

drop your oil pan again, get all the old **** off the pan and bottom of the block (where the gasket sits) you want to make sure the surfaces that touch the gasket are clean and free of any debris. Once thats done put some liquid gasket on the oil pan where the gasket lays, put the gasket on and line up the holes. Place more liquid gasket on top of the gasket. Put oil pan back on and tighten it. I tighten one bolt on opposite sides at a time then go around the whole gasket in a clockwise or counterclockwise motion until all the bolts/nuts are snug. You dont need to crank them on like lug nuts.
