Yes it was, im just trying to see what is directly behind the pilot bearing when its on the flywheel. Is that just another hole of the same size as the bearing it self or a slightly smaller one?
Im just wondering if theres any way to accidentally push it through the flywheel and into the crank while installing the tranny. I mean we used the clutch alignment tool and made sure the clutch was bolted in straight and the tranny went in with no problems, we double checked to see if we were hitting the splines on the input shaft and most of the grease was gone so we know we were on it.
The only thing is we couldn't seem to get the brand new tranny to slide right up perfectly to the bolts/engine, there was about only a 1/4 inch or less space, i called up my buddy who works at honda and specializes with trannys and i asked if its possible that it just needs to be bolted in slowly and evenly and he said that he has to do that once in awhile at work and that as long as the bolts go in evenly all the way around the tranny and it doesn't get super tough prematurely or bind up that it should be fine. So thats what we did and had no signs of binding or hardness and we got it secure and even.
We are starting it up today because the battery was dead
So thats why im asking since one of my friends thought we might have pushed the pilot bearing out of the flywheel into the crank as a worst case scenario, but we listened very carefully and did not hear anything pop out or making a ting sound or anything of the sort and my Honda friend told me thats usually not the case and that it would just get hard and stop us from bolting prematurely.
Sorry for long post but i guess im a bit nervous lol

Update:
Anyways we started her up and it ran mint, after the initial one or 2 shifts the gears felt just like new all over again with the new itr tranny we put in there. Smooth as butter lol.
Thanks guys
