i'm attempting to install the factory civic cruise into my crx. if anyone has seen what i'm talking about or can help, that would be great.

there is another user here that asked me for the wiring.
i am installing an lx cruise into my mpfi b16 91 crx si.
don't think that dpfi would make a difference.
i'll probably finish during spring break. wish me luck!

Installing it on DPFI or MPFI is the same except for the throttle cable used *may* be different.
On many of the 88/89 cars, you will need to drill a hole in the firewall for the actuator cable. Every 90/91 car I have seen so far already has this hole with just a plug installed over it.
You won't need any luck - it's very easy if you have all the necessary components.
-Pedals with cruise switch on clutch and extra arm on throttle pedal?
-brake light switch from CC equipped car, as it has an extra circuit that noncruise cars dont have. You can probably just tap into the regular circuit from your car if you don't have this switch. Basically all you need it to do is turn off the CC when you apply your brakes
-Actuator underneath the hood with harness plugs
-throttle cable from pedals for CC (this will be separate from the regular throttle cable)
-CC brain with wiring harness plug that mounts down near the throttle pedal, by the heater vent
-Gauge cluster from CC equipped car w/ plugs for speed pulser
-steering wheel slip ring with harness plugs
-dashboard 'on/off' switch
-steering wheel with cruise control resume/set buttons
There may be 1 or 2 misc items I'm forgetting, but I think I have everything listed that you will need. Just take your time on the wiring and you'll be golden!

ALSO, Cruise Control equiped cars had a COMPLETELY different pedal bracket, you CAN NOT use a non cruise control pedal bracket. That is my predicament right now since I went from auto to manual in my EX. You need a pedal bracket from a 90-91 EX or 91 LX with cruise control.

Pedal 'bracket'?
What are you talking about? Are you talking about the throttle actuator lever hanging off of the throttle cable on the pedal assembly?
Grab the entire pedal assembly out of a cruise control car and bolt it into your car.
I went from auto to manual in an '89 4 dr, and also added cruise control

bracket, assembly, same ****, the bracket differs more so than the ASSEMBLY since the bracket is different for the gas pedal, the clutch and brake pedals don't change.
