I take it my fuel pump went bad......
To start off with, I am pretty experienced with Hondas but have never dealt with a fuel pump lol. Well today I started my car and went into reverse and backed up 15 - 20 feet and then my car just died. I tried cranking it over again but nothing. I checked to my main relay and it clicks just as it is supposed to. I also checked the fuel pump fuse under the dash and the fuel fuse under the hood as well and everything was perfect. So with the main relay clicking and all of the fuses good I take it the fuel pump has died on me.
the main relay develops cracked solder joints over time, one of the main joints that go bad is the feed to the fuel pump. The relay will click just fine, but it's not connected to the pump anymore.
have you checked your fuel pressure yet? If you got nothing then check for voltage at the pump...if you have it then its the fuel pump
