Default ideas that need answers

anybody ever weld their own test pipe? how did it come out if anyone has.

im 17 just started taking a welding class, now im not anywhere near good yet but in the future i was thinking of making my own test pipe.

its really not that hard man. not that hard at all actually.but its not worth it if you get busted with out a cat your out of luck. thats why I put my cat back up, fines are crazy

all it takes is one look and your DONE! don't risk it! trust there are other ways around it and it will cost next to nothing

ok well all it is a visual inspection right? cause i dont know.
so i planned on getting a beat up cheap cat and creating a fake one. either chopping it in half and putting it over the pipe or putting the pipe threw it.
would this work?

yes just a visual (unless they have that stupid emissions machine in witch case you're effed) but you could just gut it out

Grab a crow bar or something similar and slam it through the cat.... You'll get all sorts of **** falling out until you get through. Make sure to breathe the dust in, cause cancer makes you cool!

how about keep your cat installed? losing it will make your car way worse for the environment, and you'll gain 2 horsepower. catalytic converters are not nearly as restrictive as you make them out to be.
