I won't use them on the track, mostly autox and occasional spirited driving.

Whatever, they're not a legitimate "sporty" tire, they're a "looky" tire. There are so many better things available it isn't funny. If you want any kind of performance, there's no reason to pick that tire.

Ah I see. Thanks. I was actually trying to decide between this and the Falken Azenis. I guess I'll be getting more of them.

There are some other good street tires available now too, like the Bridgestone RE01R. I have no idea how they're priced though.
i have a set of yokohama parada spec-2's, they were 80 bucks a piece and for 17's, it's a cheap tire that looked good
i pretty much got them for daily driving and when i show the car, but i wouldn't use them on the track, i got some 16" wheels with different tires for that

Yup. They're CRAPPY summer tires. They're nowhere near as good as the better budget performance summer tires like Yokohama's own ES100 and S.drive, as well as other top "bang for the buck" tires in this category like the Fuzion ZRi, Kumho SPT, etc.
And that category of tires is for people who are concerned about value - i.e. purchase price and treadlife. None of those is as sticky on dry pavement (and thus suitable for autocross/track use) as the supersticky tires intended for street-track use, like the previously-mentioned Falken Azenis RT-615, Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec, Toyo R1R, etc.

Yokohama markets the Spec 2 as a tire for show...for people on a budget.... if you want an excellent tire from Yokohama go with the S.Drive.... the Advan Sport is slightly better... not worth the $$$ though
