I figure no one knows tires better the road racers and auto x boys and girls.
I'm gonna start off by saying that we started putting her new suspension on and had to stop half way through. So the front is lowered and the rear isn't. I know that will throw the rear tow off but I didn't think it will hurt the front. Now to the problem.
Her car has seperated the sidewall from the tread on 4 tires now. 2 Neo Gen's and 2 Parada's. There all 17's in the same size. She doesn't have a camber kit yet. But I know alot of cars with camber thats off and they don't do this. It's always pn the front. There pretty new tires in good shape, atleast 85% tread left. She's religious about checking her tire pressure. Checks it every couple days, if it's a leaky tire (cause as they have been blowing she has been putting her old wheels and tires on that have been sitting for a while) she checks it atleast once a day.
Were putting the new rear suspension on this week when her camber kit and new brakes are here. She has brand new tires for it but doesn't want to put them on till we know whats causing this.
I can get pics of all the fubar tires if it will help firgure this out. There not rubbing anywhere. Anyone had this issue or know what it is?

The car doesn't pull at all when you take your hands off the wheel and there's no vibration in the wheel at 100 + mph.

The car doesn't have to pull one way or the other to need an alignment.
I wouldn't be driving the car at those speeds when you know its shredding tires

1. if your car is eating tires, why would you go 100+?
2. my racecar had 1" of toe out and it didn't pull at all.

Like others have posted a car doesn't have to pull to be out of alignment.
Are there noticeable wear patterns on these blown tires?
If its chewing up tires then the alignment is real baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad......
Who in their right mind would do 100+ knowing they have this problem.
A blow out at that speed could be catastrophic, especially on the street.
Please tell us its not on the street.

I didn't read the whole thread, but did you think about getting an alignment? When you lowered the front, it probably toed-out a bunch. That'll eat your tires.
what do you mean it separated the sidewall from the tread? this sounds more like a rubbing issue than toe eating tires. Toe can eat tires but it takes a little while. From the sound of your post you lowered the car not too long ago, so for it to have ruined 4 tires I believe this inst simply a toe problem.
Get the car aligned regardless, but go in and look again for rubbing or something hitting the tire. My landlords car had a pointy piece of fender lining ruining right rear tires, and he thought it was an alignment problem. I cut the piece off and the problem went away.
