What else could I do besides putting a turbo or nitrous kit on it.I was thinking maybe a skunk2 camshaft and an itr intake manifold.I heard the itr intake manifolds give about 7hp and about 1 lb ft of torque is this true?

 

The ITR manifold wouldn't be a bad idea and of course some agressive cams will help, thinner head gasket maybe to raise comp.?

 

The ITR intake cam alone will give you about 6-8 whp, without valvesprings and retainers. Easy power...

 

A bigger block. B20 block if you really want power(I dont blame you if you dont want to go through the hassle though.), why dont you want to go the turbo route though?

I dont know I like to keep it simple

this is the mod list in addition to my current mods that hopefully i will have in about a year or so got to save some money.

Type r intake manifold
Type r camshafts
Jet ecu upgrade
Port and Polish
2.1 stroker kit
Crower valve springs and retainers

I want my engine to have a redline of at least 8500rpm

 

instead of the stroker kit you can buy my built b20 block that will hold 9500 rpm!

 

sorry i wanna keep the same engien block i have right now

Throw the b16 in the river and go at least 1.8.

get some cams, ITR intake manifold, and ditch the a/c. That will help.
