Default HELP!! Trunk release wont open!

my trunk wont open anymore. u can hear the motor. but it doesnt unlatch it. anybody got any suggestions??????

98-01 ITRs had an electronic lock. The switch was on the hatch, not mechanical like the 97 with the cable.

I knew there were additional reasons for why I liked the 97's.

My GSR was a 97... so i too had the cable in my daily. I can't tell you how many times i have been in the R searching for that damn latch until i realized it changed in 98. I personally like the cable latch much much better.

you have no idea how much it confused the eff out of me when I went to pull your boot release in #804 and I pulled the fuel filler thingy.

seems as if only the U.S. market cars had the little lever on the bootlid with no release inside.
