Default DOHC vtec in my 97 civ

i have gotten my hands on a 97 civic ex the motor is a d16y8 of course. my question is: will the d16y8 harness support a b18a block with gsr head?

o yeah the motor in the civ now is bad and i need a car to drive while i build my teg.

The plugs will plug in.. as long as the ecu is obd2a.. (96 to 99 gsr)
The harness is almost plug and play.. just gotta wire the IAB for the GSR manifold.. and extend a few wires.. straight forward.

do i have to use the gsr manifold? i was gonna use the ls mani and the ls injectors outta a parts teg i have. that would work just same i imagine? then with that i dont need to worry about the IAB right?

The LS intake mani won't fit a GSR head. I'd suggest getting the skunk2 manifold and chipping that ECU so you won't have to worry about the secondaries from the GSR OEM intake.

No. Katman himself made those pics and they can be hotlinked from his FF Tech site.

If Phearable uses that same diagram then they should credit Katman for the pic/diagram.
