Well, I just replace my RE730s with Kumhos. I'm not very impressed yet. I'm running 35 psi in the front and 33 psi in the rear. Should these pressures go up? What are you guys running in your Kumhos?

I've got the Kumho's in 205/50 and I have about 39-40 up front and 36-38 in back...they still feel sloppy...I regret not staying at 195/55 with the stock wheels. I lost the sharp handling that I had...hopefully to be remedied when I get some new wheels...

 

With the 205/50/15s, I run 35-36 up front and 37-38 in the rear. No complaints on these tires...

what kinda kumho's did you get

 

I usually have mine at 37 psi all around. that works well with my driving style. adjust the pressures by a couple of PSI until the tires feel right for you.

i went from 730's to 712's too
dont expect much from a tire at this price

im not sure what you have it set at, but it depends upon your suspension setup, and your driving tastes

go out to an open parking lot and try out diff pressures, start high, then release more air till it feels good, also try freeway on/off ramps

at some point you will feel it lock in and it will be very nice.

 

I got a set of 205/50/15 mounted on 6.5" wide rim. I am pleased with sidewall strength and responsiveness of these tires. Not as sticky as I would like them though.

I put mine at 35 all around for street and 40 up front for autocross.

 

215-40/16...I have them set at 36F/34R...no problems, and I drive the crap out of them...windy mountain roads 40 miles each day. I will definately purchase these tires again.

I use 36-37 psi all around on 195/55/15 kumhos. Used pretty much just street driving.

 

There ok tires, I use them for street. I like mine hi......37 front 39 back.
