f22b1 removal without removing trans
remove the whole thing will take to much time and may not have enough clearance to remove the transmission from the motor. save your self a head ache

x1000, tried that before and it was a PITA. time wasted doing that I could've pulled the engine, and put it back in. If you can, rent a cherrypicker (engine hoist), or if you have a jack that can lift high enough, lower the drivetrain to the ground and jack the car high enough (done that before as a last resort, but it works).

well, i have a cherry picker and everything but my issue is this. the bolt that i need to remove to get to the driveshaft just isn't moving. i've tried rust remover, fire, brute force and none of those have made any difference. it's just pretty amazing to think that this is the one thing keeping me from putting in my h22. i guess i'm going to start the reassembly process. woohoo
