Miss my ITR glad I sold it because I'm going thru some rough times financially and I don't know how I would have kept it.

People have realized what a Hype the car is and are dumping it for something else

 

i was thinking the same thing about selling their itr's. The only way id sell myne is if i had no other choice.

 

No way..the ITR is AWESOME. Find a car that is better at its price point for overall performance and you can prove all of us wrong. The only hype surrounding the ITR are by retards that think the ITR is the BEST performing car available and nothing else can measure up.

I sold my car because I wanted something nicer that performed better than the ITR. I also had to pay a lot more to get it.

But, it is amusing to see as many for sale posts this week as we see "stolen" posts in other weeks.

everyone's jummpin on the bandwagon....once one ITR owner does something everyone else wants to follow suit.

 

I understand that some people need to move the car for a house or some other needs.

Also, there are many alternatives now in the sport compact market.

R is for die-hard enthusiats...

People are selling them cause they keep them shinny and clean, thus a theift magnet. Now if you guys stoped washing your cars and drove them you would not have to worry. Look at mine, its dirty, dented and never gets looked at

Alright. It wasn't apparent to me.

Now is a good time to sell if you chose too. You can still get good resale, there is still a market, and there are lots of potential replacements.

I wanted to sell my car before the end of this summer for sure because I was under the impression the DC5-R was coming and the inflated resale value of the ITR would drop quickly.

14.3 doesn't tell the tale. Ask RatedR how fast my car was @ the track. The fastest slowest hybrid Honda that day. lol (That sounded confusing didn't it).

I also sold my ITr because I was gearing up to buy a house. Besides I want big boy, 500 hp is just the begginning, I can't drive my fast car today because its raining and I'll kill myself, turning a corner and getting on it a little and breaking the *** end loose, spinning the **** out some 18 inch Advans, 11 seconds is kinda slow for my car power :D

 

there are times in life when greater responsibilities come into play...for some having what they want is greater than having what they need...and for some it's the opposite.

for those moving onto greater things like a house...i applaud you...
and for those that can have both wants and needs...i applaud you too...

sometimes it's better to have loved once than never to have loved at all...i guess i can be applied to cars after all.

some people buy them and they get in over there heads can't keep up with the payments insurance etc.and others just wanna get a better car S2000/NSX

maybe because there's only so much you can do to a FWD car? just a thought.

maybe you have to spend a whole lot of money to squeeze every little bit of HP you can out of a B18C5?
or
economics of their current lifestyle?

 

I am not selling an ITR since I don't have one .

But the only thing that prevented me from buying one last year is NOT money, NOT insurance, NOT attention, IT WAS THE THEFT ISSUE.
