GSR motor, CRX CIVIC questions.
Ok i got a few questions, jus to make sure i got my info straight.
1. Are the engine bays of an EF CRX Si and an EF Civic hatchback Si the same?
2. When installing a B18C1 motor in a EF CRX Si, if you get a mount kit like HASport do you have to do any cutting whatsoever in the engine bay (if so, what?)or is it a somewhat bolton process? I know you gotta get axles blah blah blah, i just wanna know if you gotta cut anything (i.e. frame or anything)
Just wanted to clear up some stuff since some people say you DO have to cut the chassis in a CRX to fit a GSR motor. Thanks

i am doing the same swap, you don't have to cut however you do have to make a dent in the drivers side frame buy the alt. so the belt will fit. no big deail

1. i always thought they were
2. i put a c1 in a 91 hb si and had to cut the rear crossmember in order to make room for the rear bracket (the part that is bolted to the block) and of cource a dent in the frame too, like previously mentioned

dent the rear crossmember in, front crossmember if you get an aftermarket header, make clearance for the alternator, and chop the ribs out of the hood. all easy stuff.
