so i got some suspension put into my car but when i go over bumps regardless on how small it is.. ( even uneven roads ) i hear a knocking noise in the rear on both sides... any ideas on what may cause it

 

have it checked out. maybe a loose bolt/nut or something like that.

 

the entire strut and suspension was pulled straight out of a friends honda and put into my honda accord and the noise was heard right away. from what he tells me he always had the noise aswell and had all the nuts / bolts and other external parts checked would you have any idea on if it may be anything internaly or if it may be a clearance problem

What exactly is "suspension?" If you installed springs, were the coil spring wraps put on? There should be a plastic wrap that's on top of the spring in the first few coil. Some looks like tape. It keeps the springs from hitting each other as it compresses.
