I recently installed the OEM splash guard and found out there is a big gap on the rear bumper. It seems like the space is for the OEM rear lip? But, I've never seen such thing on a EG ( in my area, at least). Is it still available? Any part number? If not, what other aftermarket rear lip fits in there? Opinion please.

 

There wasn't an OEM rear lip for the 5th gen. You sure you have hatch splash guards. There shouldn't be a big gap. Mine fit perfect.

Are you talking about the rear diffuser found opposite the muffler on VX models?

 

I thought the 2/3 dr and the 4dr splash guard are the same?

they're different

hatchback is different from coupe/sedan

 

Errr.... I think that maybe the reason.

Does anyone knows the part number for the 2 rear pieces? Or, the rear set? The front fits perfect tho.
