Default Transmission mounting bolt threads on block stripped

Hey guys. I just got my b18b and I noticed that one of the holes where the transmission bolts to have the first 2-3 threads stripped. The bolt goes in fine but I am just sometimes a paranoid person especially because I just got this engine. I am just curious what you guys think about this. Should I just ignore it?

Thanks

Thanks. lol. The engine will be putting out 300WHP so i was a little worried. The bolt will still thread in and toque. If worst comes to worst i will helicoil it.

basically, if you are making 300whp you have many places that are far more likely to break. rod bolts, piston rings, synchros, axles etc. you should be fine. also if it gets totally screwed you can tap it to the next larger size.

I know this is a old *** post, but what would be the next size up you would tap in a standard thread from M14x1.25? I have two holes stripped on the trans itself. I'm rebuilding another one and just need this grinding piece of **** to not fall down outta the car..thank you in advance.

I would helicoil it if you have to repair the threads. The threads are m12x1.25.
