Default Crank Pulley Hitting Radius Rod???

Hey I have a 90 civic si with an ls/vtec mounted with Innovative hydro trans conversion mounts. I just installed my new Ksport coilovers and adjusted them 1/2inch from all the way down. After they were on and the car was on the ground I noticed that the crank pully was resting on the radius rod. The crank pulley is an oem ls 3 belt pully, I would have a ctr pully but i like having my ac. To try and fix the problem I raised the car up 1inch, but when I hit bumps the crank pully hits the radius rod. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to fix this? Thanks!

is it just hitting the outside pulley? if so you can swap on a b16 pulley they are smaller in diameter

or look here( some custom curved rods)

Yes the pully is hitting on the outside edge of the second (middle belt).

And thats new info for me i thought all b-series pulleys was the same. So I'll have to try out a b16 pulley.

i have this problem too. my car is low..and my radius bar is being eaten out by the pulley. (LSV w/ LS pulley) i also notice my engine sitting slanted on the driver side. possible the slant is the cause for the crank pulley meeting the radius bar?

well assuming you don't have a/c or p/s, just get a ctr pulley. Or you could take your ls pulley to a machine/engine shop and have the a/c and p/s ribs machined off, that way you can retain the internal dampener. Course if you need the ribs on there still that poses a problem. But apparently as the other guy said the b16 pulley is smaller so hopefully that will fix your problem. Or you could always get an aftermarket traction bar setup which i believe alleviates this problem as well.

i was reading about the ctr pulleys..scary stories about them if im reading the right thing here..

anyone got a pix of the mount that bolts to the block on the driver side? i needa compare the DA ones to which ever ones are out there cause some people told me to make sure i have the DA ones. if not DA and another year mount it could cause that slant?

ive been reading around for traction bars. trying to find something that doesnt hang lower than my 4-1 headers..my car is low thats why..

assuming my b16 pulley was stock, it hit the radius arm too. i went with the ctr pulley (love it) but if you want a/c get an aftermarket undersize one

I do have ac so not really wanting a ctr pully. Been looking into an ATI damper but I believe there the same diameter as oem. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Man I just found out my CP is hitting in my damn radius rod too. I have an aftermarket Traction bar and it hits pretty bad. My B16 swap has an LS CP i believe but I found a B16 CP locally Im going to buy but maybe I could use a CTR one? I have an unorthodox CP I bought cheap but Ive read nothing but bad things how they could screw up your motor. Not sure if I want to try it. IDK what to do...

Are you wanting recommendations or just telling a story? All your options are already in this thread... besides going back to a D-series of course.
