Default needing inputs on compression

im in the process of building a all motor k and was needing inputs on running 13:5:1 pistons on 93 octane.

i have seen a handful of builds but not enough for me to make up my decision...

If this is a street motor, it depends on who's tuning it but if it is a street motor, the better question would be why do you want that compression level? Have you considered going less compression and more aggressive timing/tuning for power? That's the best way to build a street motor. If it's a race only engine with race gas, that's a different story.

Yes, with the right cam this will work very well on the street. With VTC on the intake cam, it is possible to increase overlap at low rpm part throttle. This is the region most prone to detonation.
