Anyone else's factory bumpers not match the rest of the car?
Ever since the day we picked up the 06 Accord when it was new it's had this problem. You notice it mostly in sunlight or when washing it or something up close. Anyway the bumper seemed to be a little more off white than the rest of the car which was a pure white. It always bugged me. I ended up getting two new bumpers painted and put on by a body shop which did an amazing job. Looks better than the factory paint on them did. I'm just not easily impressed and usually unhappy with stuff like that because I'm soo particular but they did a amazing job. When I got there to pick it up I noticed the bumpers matched perfectly. It looks soo much better than it did from the factory. I said something to the guy about this and he told me it was because they painted the bumpers seperately and put them on the car last so they didn't always end up matching perfect but some would. He told me he see's this on Toyota's and Honda's most often.
If I would have known how much better it would just make the car look I would have gotten the bumpers repainted when new. It always has bothered me but I figured maybe the bumpers were a tad shade different because they were plastic instead of metal but I guess I was wrong.
Anyone else have this with their car?

it happens all the time, the bumpers are painted seperate at the factory so its easy to happen, especially on the Gold and silver colors, you always see it on the older camry's, it sucks, we get them all the time at our shop.
