Is it true that if I buy projector lights with an Ion Blue lens the output of my light will be amber?

 

come on guys, I know someone has to know the answer to this

 

what the hel are you talking about , wouldn't you assume that if you buy ION blue bulbs they would light up blue?
the lens on anything is clear , how could that not light up blue

ION bulbs are ghey
projectors are ghey

Blue Ion lenses use dichroic lenses that emit a yellow light when on, but are blue when off. The dichroic lense reflects blue light waves, but allows other light waves (yellow, etc) through. The lumens output is less, and gets worse when you use a blue bulb in a blue ion housing.

 

i have seen people with projectors that shine all yellow and ****..looks wack IMO..

 

Amber projector foglights, on the other hand, those are

I had a set on my old car, the lenses looked blue when off, but intense amber when on.

blue is filtered out leaving you amber looking color.

 

it used to say alot more than it does now
