Took my 96 DC2 in for an alignment. They put it up on the rack and proceeded to show me how the entire front end would shift from side to side. The techs said the movement wasn't coming from a particular tie rod because both sides were moving, so they claimed the steering rack was shot.

Does this sound right? Anyone have any advice on what to do?
