ok this is my friends name so dont ask him for advice but I personally have a k24a2 in a rsx 03 and the motor mounts are the same all the way around. and dont waste your time wit inserts or stock replacements there a waste. ive been there it SUCKS, innovative mounts are very reasonable and i have been very happy since i got them. and they come in 3 different stiffnesses. GL!

By the way UTkid was suprised, I think he was asking if they are solid aluminum mounts.

Solid mounts will break easier.

no i don't have the solid aluminum ones i think mine are urethane but if your doing the hybrid motor the inserts just aren't going to cut it your going to need a solid urethane mount like the enjo's or innovative mounts

Innovative are good mounts and are priced reasonably. with a k24 i would go with either the 75a or the 85a. just depends on how solid you want it to be.. both still have the bushing in em.. hope that helps.

I have a built K24 in my rsx making just under 300hp All motor and i have been running the inserts for over a year and take the car to the track on slicks 3 times a month and i have no trouble. If your trying to save money then do that, and you have to change the pass. side mount bracket that bolts to the timing chain cover because the bolt pattern is different.

slo90si, I am curious, what don't you like about the inserts? I just installed the rear esmm (they sent me two left side inserts for the front so i have to wait until ES sends me the right part to install the front one) So its ghetto but I only have the rear mount in but I get a lot of vibration that makes it annoying pulling away in first gear or idling at a light. Do you think the Innovative 60A mounts would vibrate less?

Essentially the stiffer the mount, the more vibration you will get. I think it's a fair sacrifice for better traction and a less likely chance to crack your race header if you have one.

I know the concept and benefits of stiffer mounts/inserts, thats why I bought and installed mine. My question is in comparing esmm's to the Innovative engine mounts, do the 60a hardness innovative mounts vibrate less? Basically what makes them better than the esmm's and are they worth the $

Yours might be rattling more just because you only have one? Not equally dampening the engine vibration.
