you didn't even ask what seat you were comparing the stockers to. shocker perhaps but different seats have different weights. most of those seats have weights either on the websites or by calling. you can weight the stockers on a bathroom scale. yank em out and find out.

Brides do not come with brackets, but they do have brackets available. Any reclinable seat isn't going to be a notable weight loss though, especially when you consider the weight of the bracket. A good halfway in between are the Bride Pros, which (all inclusive, both sides) should save you about 10 pounds over your stock seats. They're not reclinable, but are steel framed and treat your *** a bit better than shell framed seats on long trips.

My particular favorites were the Exas 2 which I had in a couple of my previous cars. I used MemoryFab brackets with them as opposed to Bride brackets. They're lighter than the Bride brackets, but still weight more than the actual seat does. I had an original Zeta that was "almost" as good as the Exas 2, but it had about a 2 hour time limit before I had to get out and stretch, the Exas was considerably better in this regard, but not on par with seats like the Ergo and the Pros.
