GC coilovers lower in rear than front
I just put on new OTS (380/250) GC coilovers on my Koni yellows (neuspeed edition).
I maxed out the front in lowering and it barely tucks the tire, but maxed out in the rear it almost tucks 15" rims
I had to raise the rear *alot* to get it even.
Is this normal?
The part numbers are 200.64.67 Front and 200.64.44 Rear.
It's strange because my old Neuspeed race springs supposedly had a 2.5" drop, and the GC is rated for 3.5". So why is the front only marginally lower?

funny, mine are the same ways, I had regular koni's with h&r race springs, came across a deal on some GC, bought them put them on, and noticed that the fronts dont go extremely low, but the rears do. It seems the rears could go about 2" lower than the fronts.

I do want the front lower, but it can't go as low as the rear. That's the problem.
I called GC and they said its normal. Great support btw!
Oh well I'll have to do with tucking just tread. I'm scraping resonator left and right still lol.
Thanks for the inputs

is there anything that we could do which will let us lower the front more?
I know some guys with civics mount the koni's lower on the fork giving them a lower stance. But im not sure if thats safe because I dont want one day to be driving the the shock falls all the way down, since the remove the little bracket that sits ontop of the fork.

If you want the car lower than what the GC set allows for, you obviously aren't caring too much about ride comfort. So here's something I've seen done, though I don't personally recommend lowering any Honda more than 2 inches for any reason.
Cut the spring seat off the strut, and reweld it slightly lower. (good luck getting it off without destroying it)
Like I said, this is not recommended, but I've seen it.

Lowering the front and rear to the lowest position is NOT gonna give them the same ride height. U have to independantly set the front from the rear. I also have GC with Koni and i tuck about half tire, still looks good and is really functional. The upper control arms are the issue when it comes to how low you can go. The UCA will hit the inner fender, that simple. For some reason these cars just weren't made to go as low as a civic,or integra.

Preludes are designed to handle better. Leave the slamming for F&F Civic owners.
