Engine & Steering Shutter Issue
Good Morning HT,
I have a '96 Accord LX Sedan w/ 5spd Manual Transmission, 121k mi, Stock F22 w/ Intake, and 16" CL Mesh Wheels.
I am not a rough driver. I 1/2 - 3/4 throttle the car in 1st & shift between 3,000 - 4,000 rpm into the next gear.
The issue I am having is a shutter felt though the car in 2nd gear, around 2,250 - 3,000 rpm, on 1/2 - 3/4 throttle. It feels like something is skipping/slipping, and is worse when the A/C is on. Occasionally, this will also occur in 3rd gear under the same conditions as well.
I recently changed the passenger side axle, both driver and passenger Hub Assembly, Bearing Assembly, Rotors, Pads, and had an alignment. I've checked and rechecked everything to see if anything was loose, and there was nothing.
My only assumption at this point, is the car is just under powered and is struggling to generate enough power to get moving.
Any insight and/or suggestions would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks!

The inner joint, meaning the side attached to the drive train?
If it has shaft play, then it's a bad CV?

So do I have to detach it from the drivetrain or leave it in?
See if it moves up & down, left & right? right?
