HELP!! Clutch is going BONKERS!!!
Hey guys, I was trying to start my car today. But it wouldn't start, like the ignition wouldn't even crank. The clutch also got incredibly stiff...like I had to literally smash the clutch for it to depress. So finally I got the car started by slamming the clutch all the way down. Everytime I needed to shift I had to slam on the clutch for it to engage. What is going on? The engine seems to be running perfectly. I asked my friend and he said it was the clutch bearing. What is the clutch bearing? and how much does it cost to fix? can i do it myself? Can someone help me out?? I have a 1989 Civic HB DX with stock motor and tranny.
