Default Coolant loss and eventual overheating 92 Accord EX

Hi everyone, I did do a search but still need to ask for fresh advice please. I have a 92 in which I have to add coolant every few days but do not have a visible leak. The car runs just fine at 228K miles. There is nothing unusual in the oil, nothings is smoking from the tailpipe, and not a drop of coolant anywhere in the system. I have replaced the thermostat, the water pump is new with the timing belt change. The passenger side fan does work, the driver side fan I have not seen operating after say 10 minutes of idle. I have bought a new radiator, just not convinced I should install it. Any new help please. I really like this car. Thanks for any advice.

Have your cooling system pressure tested before you throw any more parts at this invisible problem. Once you add pressure to the system any leaks will show up that you may have.

Here's what I did to pressure test the radiator myself.... With an air compressor, I gently, put air into the recovery kit spill hose with the radiator cap on, I saw the radiator expand a bit, showing air pressure, the upper hose and lower hose were harder, (full of air), and then saw two visible leaks dripping from the radiator's bottom corners. I guess that settles it, I do have a leak. My only question is this, could I have caused the leak by putting air into it? I was very careful in not putting too much air into the system causing something else to pop. I see the radiator cap states 16 lbs of pressure.
