i have a 90 crx si with a b16a swap and the vtec wont crack. if anyone has had this problem or no whats wrong plz help

 

is it a new swap? has the vtec worked before? do you have a check engine light or codes flashing on the ecu?

If your vtec is cracked, you have a serious problem.

 

SIred whats up with all of these crackin their vtec...i know that the OP means vtec crossover but there has been a few thinking that by actually crackin their solenoids means their vtec will be louder lol

 

try to check level of engine oil too.if low vtec not work

 

its is a new swap but it came out of another crx so i just swaped everything over. the check engine light is on but it is only shows code 5 and thats the o2 sencer.

 

pretty sure any check engine code will stop vtec from working. fix your codes first
