i believe thats not your issue the flow is the issue not the bolt up i do belive.

i realize the pressure will be a little higher, because the difference of a washer, but is this the only difference?

not 100% but I believe the obd 2 pumps have a sensor that the obd 1 pumps don't have, not sure though

not sure if the obd 1 pumps have a spot for it, also the lower timing belt cover is different between the 2 to accomadate the sensor, the covers can be swapped, if you run the LS obd1 it should work fine without the sensor.

yes the ls is coverted to obd1. i just realized that i have a extra 96+ oil pump from an old gsr that i should work, bc ive heard 96+ oil pumps are all the same through out the trims.

I'd also like to know if a 96+ oil pump will bolt onto a 94-95 gsr without any problems?
