b20vtec vs ls/vtec INef?

Default b20vtec vs ls/vtec INef?

well i am planning build motor not sure to do b20vtec or ls/vtec set up i wanna run all motor not sure if i wanna go boost

wat will be a good set up

Im building an Ls/VTEC right now for my Ef hatch...

well if you get the Older b20 from the prelude your gunna find those motors have no power

and the ls from the 90-92 integra also have no power


you need the b20 from the CRV and the ls from the 94 and up integra for some good torque

but i have a turbo b20, it runs very strong

but the ls/b20 vtec swap is the same price for both motors, and the vtec head will fit both

but for boost get a low compression head b16/gsr

i had a b20vtec in my sedan. LOVE IT MISS IT. 13.6 1/4 mile

i now have an LSvtec. LOVE it. 14.1 1/4 mile. but nowhere near my B20vtec. gotta love the Trq on the b20.

WOW hammergunner do you even know what years the B18 came in obviously your right on the B20 and the B21 that came in the preludes, as they are not compatible with a vtec head setup. But you are saying that the 90-92 Ls motors suck? they are the same damn thing as a 94 and up motor, and did you forget about the 93 integra? same motor. the only difference is in the head as the 90-93's had 137hp and the 94 and up had 142 its all in the cams and the intake manifold no other differences

Only bad thing about ls/cr/vtec is you cant rev them as high, plus the Rod/Stroke Ratio's suck.
