Are clutch internals interchangeable between different manufacture?

Default Are clutch internals interchangeable between different manufacture?

in my case...

i have exedy clutch + FIDANZA flywheel.. and if the clutch disk is bad on this set up can i get competition clutch disk and use the rest ??

or do i need to get a new set?3

more info.. the EXEDY Organic Clutch is what i have..
i'm looking into competition stage 4 (disk) to replace exedy one?

For the most part you can swap discs as the thickness is pretty much standard. However, I doubt that pressure plate from the organic clutch has the clamping force required for the disc you plan to use.

Read every post in here by Master of the Universe (skip the rest). It won't take that long. You'll definitely find a certain answer to your question (and more), as I read that thread last week.
