i have a ek hatch and i want to take out the windows but i have no idea of where to start or how to take them out? i know that i need to pull out the rubber piece from the outside first but then what do i do next. will i need a knife or something to carve around the window or is there something easier to do. cause i dont want to break them thanks?

All the windows? Or just the hatch?

I recently took out the driver front window on my civic.

I took down the door panel, removed the outside trim piece and weatherstripping, and then took out the two screws that attached the window to the regulator.

It just slid out after that.

I have no clue on front/back windows though.

The two screws were visible through cutaways in the panel when the window was all the way up.

+1 for the side windows, never done a hatch or rear windshield though.

Pull the trim off around the window off without breaking it.

Find a long knife thats flexible and sharp.

Start at the door jam top to bottom, along the bottom front to back and follow along to the top and work back towards the front.

I made a few scratches but if your painting it dosent matter.
