how many miles are you guys getting from your brakes from factory?
you're getting really good wear out of your pads. my mom gets that amount of miles on her brake pads before she needed to get them replaced lol.

I have about 45k on my factory pads. The wear of the pads also has to do with traffic conditions and how much you really use your brakes. I thought it was weird also how I had so many miles on factory pads.
'06 civic EX 4dr i went 18k on my factory rear pads and 23k on my factory fronts. Just had to change the rears again at 40k fronts still have 5.50mm left. these factory pads are about $60.00 a set at the dealer.

Why would your rears fade faster than your fronts? Doesn't sound right to me. And, buy the pads that are $20 a set from Advance or Autozone. You're wasting your money. You can always buy parts and have the dealer install them if you want them to do the work.

I do the brake myself and factory pads for me have a good feel and handle the hard braking i some times do in canyon driving. the rear pads were wearing like they were not flat to the rotor. I put pressure gauges at the brake lines btween the master cyl. and the system, the rears have pressure before the fronts get pressure. That leads me to believe that the split is more to the rear for better braking and less dive in the nose.
