Default Another Hondata K-Pro Question

If I have a 2002 RSX-S and I purchase K-Pro for it can I drive it without getting tuned (is there a factory map?) and could I upload the #4 re-flash for the time being (is it available for download, etc.)?

Thanks,

Edit: I found this thread, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1893047 It helped a little.

By uploading a map it should be drivable but try not to beat on it until you get EVERYTHING worked out. If you have K-pro you don't deal with reflashes. K-pro flashes the ECU when you upload changes to it.

The #4 reflash is not an upload-able map, it is only available as a reflash.

You will have about 15-20 base maps to choose from, if you have an intake run the k20a2 Intake basemap until you can have the car tuned.

Of course that's assuming you're driving a 2002-2004 RSX Type S.
