low fuel pressure = bog-hesitate
fuel pump just went on me so I replaced it with a brand new walbro gss-341, maybe more pump than I need with a stock z6 but the price was right.
car ran great all weekend, took it up to the local ski hill and it pulled really good (for what it is) and I even commented on how good the car felt.
today merging on to the highway I got a slight hesitation for half a second, nothing major.
started car later and it sputered and slowly made it into smooth idle.
all the way home it started hesitating on initial acceleration, bogging and then accelerating fine after 2500rpm.
came home and fuel pressure was kind of low at 20-25psi, thought i'd try turning up the pressure (fuel pressure regulator), soon as I removed the vacuum line it idled better and the fuel pressure shot up to 35-40, this is without adjusting pressure. put vacuum line back on and pressure dropped back down. cranked up fuel pressure with vac line on to 35 and went for a drive and it didn't help.
I also noticed that I could audibly hear my fuel pump working, I have full interior and I have never heard it before this.
suggestions?
