Default A/C not blowing cold but compressor is running and free-on level is good??

A/C is not blowing cold in 95 Honda accord. The compressor is kicking on and I checked the free-on level/pressure on the low port side and it is reading in the full range.

what could be the problem?

The problem might be the shut off valve to the heater core is not closing all the way.

I also believe there is a service bulletin about the temp control in the center console; To the effect it jumps gear teeth, then the control cable is out of synch to the intermediate linkage below the heater core box.

Thanks. Is the shut-off valve in the engine compartment or under the dash?

Where can I find more info about the possible service bulletin?

The valve is in the engine compartment. On the passengers side about half way down. The same thing happened to me, the valve was open just a little bit, I closed it and had cold air instantly.

Like he said the problem can be either the heater control cable, or the **** on the dash. Basically you have to shorten the cable by adjusting where it's connected, which is under the dash on one end and in the engine compartment on the other, or move the **** on the dash a couple of teeth. You would have to take the dash off I think to get at the **** so the cable would probably be easier.
