Are their any hood dampers that will fit a carbon fiber hood? I have a 1998 civic coupe with VIS carbon fiber hood are their any hood dampers that fit it. I was looking aat some and they said will only work with stock hood. So let me know thanks.

 

i am not sure but i think the hood dampers are to stiff you will just bend/crack your hood trying to shut it. or it would push it to far up. i dont know though

 

Unless the CF hood has a skeleton under it you wont have anywhere to mount the damper end.
