VTEC Solenoid Problem/Question
Hi, there i'm fairly new to Hondas but a total noob to VTEC.
I bought a jdm D15B vtec head at the junkyard and i noticed that i forgot a plug, but my brother noticed a pin was missing inside the plug and the wires were spliced. I though maybe they ran 1-wire vtec... This head is for a Mini-me swap for my 89 Hatch but you guys seem to know more about vtec since you cars have an option for it.... I want to run a VAFC2 instead of buying an ECU. How can i fix this? Will it interfere with the VAFC2?

what ever you do don not buy a vafc it sucks and will turn your engine into a ticking timebomb get a new ecu it will be cheaper that way anyways

Oh, well i was hoping to stay OBD0, wouldn't running a VTEC ecu require me to convert to OBD1?
Are those Buddy Club V-Cons, and Fields VTEC Controller crap aswell?
EDIT: What makes the VAFCs crap? Can't find any information on problems with them, i just want it to run VTEC and not edit Fuel/Air
