heres the situation

i have an autoy8 intake mani
and a manual intake mani

well the manual one cracked so i need to use the auto.

can i swap the IACV from the back of the manual to the automatic one?????

If you drill out the holes in the back of the maifold then yeah you should be able to, you'll have to tap the mounting holes as well

no, I've just heard of people doing it, is the manual version cracked in place you can weld it?

 

nah i lied so this discussion wouldnt come up.

its a [freak]ing intake manifold with that air injection crap. i dont know how to plug it so it doesnt cause a major vaccum leak

 

I thought the Auto IACV was 3 wire?

 

only if i was using a auto intake manifold.
