ecu power problem

Alright i'll give you the story first.
About a year ago i did an engine swap to an 89 ef hatch. Just did the same motor that was in before (d15b2) so there was no screwin around just plug and play. Since then the car has been sitting in a corner of the shop. Now i need the car so I went to start it up and all it does is crank. Tested it for fuel and spark and i had neither. So i went further up the line tested all (yes i mean all) of the parts required to create spark and fuel and they were all good.
So I decided to check the ecu for error codes just for kicks. When i was checking it, it gave me nothing. On my daily driver ef hatch the ecu blinks momentarily when i turn the ignition on and again when i turn it off. This one does not. So I then went to start testing the ecu for power and ground. All the grounds were good on it but it had no power what so ever. I then went and checked the fuses. Fuses were all good. All visible and obvious power connections have been checked and were good.
Any help would be appreciated. Like I said I've basically checked anything and everything that would be obvious. And to keep from somebody saying try swapping the ecu, its been done but obviously wouldn't matter as there is no power going to it.
Thanks,
~Dave

Why would you need a pic of the inside of the ecu? Its an untouched pm5.
I do believe i said i checked all fuses x2.
And how would i my thermostat ground (which also does not make much sense) keep my ecu from getting constant and ignition power?

cause the ground that goes for the thermostate housing is the ecus main ground.if it aint on and tight your ecu wont do **** dumb ***.ecus dont last forever things happen to certin parts over time.very rare it happens but it does happen.u did say **** about your mainrelay can u hear that clicking?

I know i came across as rude in my previous post sorry for that. I did try 2 different ecu's in there and no difference. My grounds are all good on it. Just no power. Its not an issue with my ecu itself its something before it. Im looking into my Main relay right now.
Either way I actually wouldn't mind you taking a look at the pics inside of the ecu and at that (Kinda going off topic briefly) is there any chip for this thing you can do. It is a PM5 just my DD kinda want a little more out of it without going mpfi.

when u turn your key do u hear a click?i wonder if u got a open wire somewire in the harness?everything seems ok but u also said it doesnt flash when u hit the car.did both ecus do this?keep in mind the main relay send the fuel pump power also.try switching out the main relays and if it still does it u must have a open wire somewhere.

alright so i checked the main relay and yea it wasn't clicking. tried replacing it same story. the replacement one i put in was out of a car that was running up until i took it out haha. so i guess im gonna look for an open wire somewhere in this mess.
no ****!! yea u may have a open wire somewhere.theres a way to see but i dont advize doing it.BUT u can run the power wire for ecu ecu straight to the ecu fuse undetr the hood.turn the key and see if the ecu gets power that way.

yea i tried that earlier with some luck.
I found where the circuit was cut. All i can say is i [freak]ing hate mice. lol. So my main relay is now working. ecu powers up. still no fuel pump.
decided not to [freak] around and I just checked at the pump itself and they got in there to . Chewed the whole damn connector up. So i grabbed a new connector from my parts car and threw it in. Took a few try's but it started up.
Thanks zccr-xsi for your help. Saved my *** on this one. I'll pm you about getting a couple ecu's flashed in the very near future.
Thanks again,
~Dave
