90 CRX 1.5 DX died on the freeway and won't start
(Car is totally stock with 150k on it)
- Turns over fine--new battery
- Got gas squirting out of the fuel pump when I turn the key on with fuel line diconnected.
- Sprayed starter fluid into throttle body while cranking and it doesn't fire
- Got spark at the plugs
- Replaced distrib cap
- Rotor is tight--no play at all
- Timing belt looks fine and is tight
- All valves are working so camshaft is fine
I don't know what else to try. I don't have a timing light. It's throwing code 1 (O2 sensor) which has been bad all along. I borrowed an ODBII reader from a friend but I can't figure out where to plug it in. I thought it was right by the steering column.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That could be a sign of things to come..
When the bearing inside the distributor starts going bad,
It will produce a lot of excess heat..
