b18c wont start
like title states. i was coming back from work and then my car shuts down on me while driving. my first thought was my fuel pump cause that is what happens when u have no gas goin to ur car. i switched the fuel pump and main relay and it still dont start up. so i fixed the timing, switched the alternator with my buddies cuz his car just died from water being shot to the head, switched the spark plugs and spark plugs wire, starter is fine, battery is fine, fuses are tested good, checked the injectors to see if its clogged its not, sand the frame for better grounds, and now i cant think of anymore options. the car cranks over but it wont start, its like something is holding it back from starting. any ideas?

Re: b18c wont start
are you getting spark? if you are and getting injector pulse, take a compression test.
if you compression is off check your timing, i.e your timing belt jumped

Make sure your timing belt hasnt snapped.. I know thats the last thing you would check for but just make sure. You can just pop off your oil cap and have someone trying and start the car.. See if the cams are spinning or not.
But first you can try and change the battery? have you tried that yet?

if the timing belt snapped i would of notice it but it didnt snap its still there. my cams spins. it cant be the battery cause it still cranks the car strong.

Wow, it gets very expensive replacing parts randomly in an attempt to fix a problem. Troubleshooting is the key to success and saves money.
Check for spark and listen for whether the fuel pump primes for 2 seconds when the key is turned to ON(II). Is the CEL ON?

Re: b18c wont start
OBDI GSR WITH STOCK P72 ECU that wouldn't start for $hit
Before you go out and buy a DIZZY I would pull the coil and take it to a store/autozone and have them check it.
Half the time they are bad and you can change them and save some money.
-assuming you have checked all fuzes
-start with making sure the fuel pump primes
-if it does then check the filter in the engine bay for pressure
make sure the injectors have power
-CHECK FOR SPARK WITH A ALTERNATE PLUG = GOOGLE OR UTUBE
-check for power at the distributer (black/yellow) wire at the DIZZY on the 2 wire harnesss-other wire is a blue wire IF YOU HAVE POWER HERE MOVE ON TO CHECK COIL.
-if it cranks and does not start its probably the DIZZY cap or coil
-take coil out and get it checked out
-if the cap is worn at the plug points just replace it= under $20
-new coil or cap should fire it up
-if there is still an issue check grounds=tranny-ecu-motor etc
-at this point if it does not start make sure you have not flooded the motor(should have done this already)=take plugs out and air it out with a fan at your own risk use carb cleaner or starter fluid and spray for 2 sec in each plug hole (pref at TDC but it don't matter
-clean plugs off and reinstall
-TAKE MOTOR TO TDC https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-integra-6/tdc-timing-belt-question-2018433/ and line up cam gears and fire it up (If you know what you are doing you would have already made sure your cams are moving when you crank the motor.) Requires another set of eyes!
Too easy. If you still have issues it could be your wiring.
Don't be the goon who try to run your swap with a stock P28= SOHC. Yes it may start it but it is not programmed to run DOHC until it's chipped! Thats what he did because of what he said he read.
OFTEN YOUR MOTOR CAN JUMP TIMING EASILY IF YOU HAVE THESE ISSUES GOOGLE THIS PART BUT ITS REAL EASY
Feel free to PM me if you need help.
Doing this because of his mishap or need for help.
