Default OEM 99-00 Raybrig HID plug and play

Anyone put HID into their OEM fog light?

Any comments are appreciated.

Yes, I have. It's a little time consuming. I had to drill a hole in the metal plate on the back of the fog to pass the HID wires through. Made it the correct size for the grommet included on the HID bulb to go into. Also had to cut some off of the metal frame that the fog mounts into so the adjustment range was good and the wires wouldn't get smashed or cut.

If you send me a pic of your fogs from the back side, I can make marks in paint to show you exactly what I did. I put the ballasts on the radiator support.

Can you post pictures (if any) on this thread. How much did the bulb protrude the metal cover?

The back side where it was heat shrinked came right to the metal cover. Once the grommet is installed in the cover, it was fine. I had to cut the rear side of the bracket so I could run the wires without worrying about them getting cut. I'll be over there this weekend and I'll get you some pics.

Can't wait to see the pictures. Did the bulb fit well inside due to the bulb cover design for the H3 bulb?

nautica_t put HIDs in his Integra fogs, which share the same fog housing as the Civic.

That's some bright stuff, but I'm looking for pictures of the set up w/ the HID attached.
