Car sporadically stalls, ignition switch?
Recently purchased a 97 Accord LX 4-cyl, 5-speed manual transmission. The past few days, I've noticed that the car will randomly stall on me, unexpectedly. I don't get any warning, just notice that the car doesn't rev and my power steering/brakes are gone. If I come to a stop and restart the car, everything is fine. Today this happened 150 miles from home which was concerning me, and it happened at 40 mph on a hill.
The other thing I should mention--I noticed that if I turn the key to the "ON" position, sometimes it doesnt click the car on, until I turn the key slightly more to engage the ON position.
I should note that I do have oil leaking in one spark plug tube which I plan to fix over the weekend. Does the stalling sound like an ignition switch? Would I need to replace the whole lock tumbler?
