need quick help with ignition switch!!!!!

need quick help with ignition switch!!!!!
I have a 94 ls and the ignition switch went bad (car would start but when the key was released to the on position, car would die) so i put my new one in and now i dont get anything when I turn the key, the car wont even turn on. NOT A DAMN THING
Any suggestions.

sounds like a dizzy/plug problem, not an ignition switch problem.
and when you connected your new switch you probably forgot to connect a ground wire or something.

it is not a dizzy or plug problem. I could keep the car running by holding the key just past the on position. and everything for the switch is plugged up.
