I wouldn't spend anymore money on the engine until you pull those pistons and get rid of all the sharp edges from machining. Sharp edges will promote detonation and if it's bad enough.....boom!

If I remember I'll take some pictures of a piston that went south on me because I didn't clean up the machined edges on my JE pistons.

What do you use to take the sharpness off of the edges Dave?

I'm just wondering if you know of a way to take off the edge w/o losing too much material, especially since I've already had the shop internally balance the rotating assembly.

Your missing a few key ingrediants on that All-Motor build.

Why did you just get a B20 Block?

What pistons are those? For some reason, I don't recognize them. Otherwise, looks great....similar to my setup, but, I'm at stock bore. Good to see someone else is building their motor CORRECTLY!

Your sleeves have a BUILT IN block guard.
And those pistons are off the shelf, not as custom as you would think.
Also, I would strongly suggest an oil cooler.
